Are you still the one everything runs through?
The Founder's Exit
The shift from operator to leader.

From being the bottleneck to building a business that runs without you.
The Operator
Trapped in the day-to-day

Every decision comes to you
Deals stall when you're not available
You're the fix for every problem
Growth creates more pressure
Exhausted but can't step away
The Leader
Builds what oulives them

Sets the vision, not every decision
Business runs without you in it
Team owns the outcomes
Growth creates more freedom
Leads from your highest value
The Founder's Exit is a 4-stage operating cadence that gets the business ready to run without you, long before you decide to leave it.
What We Do
EOS-Style Implementations
EOS-style frameworks are a simple, practical system that helps leadership teams run their business with clarity and discipline.
It focuses on three things:
1. Vision: where you’re going and how you’ll get there
2. Traction: actually executing on what matters
3. Healthy: building a strong, accountable leadership team

At MTA Consultancy, we don’t just “implement” the framework and leave.
We run it with you, alongside your leadership team, so it actually sticks and drives results.
Executive Coaching
Executive coaching develops the leader responsible for driving the business.

The Founder...
The Owner...
The CEO...

Where EOS creates structure, clarity and accountability across the company, coaching focuses on how the CEO operates within that system.

We work on decision making, communication, leadership presence, and how leaders handle real pressure inside the business.

This is not advisory from the sidelines. Chris previously lived this the CEO of a $115M company.
It’s applied, in real time, helping leaders lead more effectively, run stronger teams, and consistently drive results.
Leadership Team & Sales Team Training
Coaching the C-Suite is only the start. Real, durable growth depends on the leaders standing right behind you, and whether they're equipped to run the company at the next level.
MTA Consultancy works with your senior leadership team to surface the behaviors, gaps, and standards quietly limiting your company's performance, across mindset, communication, and execution.
We go further than traditional training by building the operational infrastructure that holds results in place: meeting cadence, accountability, and the systems that keep performance consistent week to week.
For revenue teams, we sharpen the engine that closes business: GTM strategy, sales process, pipeline management, and client experience.
It's all grounded in the Make the Adjustment methodology. The focus is simple. Identify what isn't working. Make the right adjustments. Execute at a higher level.
Keynote & Motivational Speaking
Chris Mader's first career was behind the plate. Drafted by the Chicago White Sox in 1991, he spent 4 years in the minors playing for World Series Champion Manager Terry Francona, sharing in the infield with Derek Jeter, and taking spring training reps next to Michael Jordan and Bo Jackson.
He was drafted in the 49th round out of 50 rounds, yet in 1993 he was named "Minor League Player of the Year". That career taught him the lesson he's been teaching ever since. The people who go further aren't always the most talented. They're the ones willing to make the adjustment when the game changes.
Three decades later, Chris coaches owner-operators when they've become the bottleneck in their own companies. His keynotes draw on 30 years of pattern recognition, Boston University research on why leaders resist change, and the frameworks behind his book, Make the Adjustment.
Chris speaks without slides. The room drives the conversation. That's by design. Audiences leave with something they can use the next morning, in their next hard conversation, their next leadership meeting, their next pipeline review.
His signature talk, Make the Adjustment, is the playbook for breaking bottlenecks, building bench depth, and leading a team that doesn't need the owner for every decision.
He delivered it to Micro-Cap PE Firm portfolio companies and to groups like TechServe Alliance, where members called it the most valuable session they'd had in years, "maybe ever".
Book Chris when your audience doesn't need another motivational hour. They need to leave with something they can actually run with on Monday.
A MESSAGE FROM CHRIS
The part of leadership nobody's saying out loud.

Let's skip the part where I tell you why coaching matters. You wouldn't be on this page if you didn't already know.
So here's what I'll say instead.
The higher you climb, the fewer people will tell you the truth. Your team won't (they like their jobs). Your board won't (they're managing optics). Your peers won't (you're the competition). And the consultants you've hired? Most of them are too busy selling you the next framework to mention that you, personally, are the bottleneck.
Three decades inside companies from startup to $26 billion in global revenue taught me one thing: the pattern is almost always the same. The strategy isn't broken. The market isn't broken. The team usually isn't either.
The leader is one adjustment away from a different outcome, and nobody in their orbit is willing to say it.
That's the work. I'm the person in the room who tells you the truth, kindly, and stays long enough to help you do something about it. Not a framework. Not a 90-day program with a clever name. A real partnership with someone who's been where you are and isn't trying to win your approval.
Before we go further, the question I'll eventually ask you anyway:
Do you need to be right? Or do you want to win?
If your answer is "win," let's talk.
